What a wonderful home away from home..

The staff were so friendly, effortless & superior service from the reception through to housekeeping. Rooms were sizable, and well appointed, with super comfortable beds, a large bar fridge, and lovely products. The 7-seat jacuzzi was a real treat for our own private use for the hour we were allocated (which we enjoyed on several days) without any issues. We were kindly upgraded to a lakefront view which had two large balconies and a breathtaking vista of the lake, mountains, and well-kept gardens.

The location was perfect, just a short 5 min walk into Queenstown shops & restaurants, local bus service within 100m of the hotel, and a convenient 9 mins from the airport.

Breakfast, buffet style - ample selection of hot & cold with espresso coffees available and a large selection of teas. It was a basic breakfast however at the price the room was offered, it allowed us to be foodies at so many wonderful restaurants, cafes, and bakeries from lunch through to supper!

Ample storage area for skis/boots and bags. Super impressed with the hotel. The staff took great pride in ensuring you had a wonderful stay.
A little dated in decor in some areas however for value, service & hospitality - look no further.

We'll be back!

Thank you to all who made our ski trip & my daughter's 13th birthday one to fondly remember.

Room tip: Book the jacuzzi - 1hr exclusive use (7 seater) super private! Just what we needed after a full day skiing

Was very excited to stay here, with the website showing beautiful views & top notch rooms. However, there was construction right outside our room that would go all through the night with very loud noises that kept us awake as well as flashing lights - this construction also made it a pain to drive in and out of the hotel. They also partially ruined the view that we were very excited for. The curtains & sheets had weird stains and the sheets smelt horrible. Would definitely not recommend.

Clean rooms. The apartments are well maintained. discrete and efficient servicing. Staff always available, very friendly and helpful. The team here is clearly solution focused. Reception has great knowledge of the town and available activities offering useful advice. Adequate parking which tends to be a drama in Queenstown

This hotel is definitely in need of a facelift, but the rooms are clean, large and warm. A short walk into town you cannot fault the location and with the exception of the current roadworks there are some spectacular views from the balcony’s. I only drank coffee at breakfast, the food didn’t look too appealing and my colleague who did eat found it underwhelming at best.

This hotel is just old and tired. The views are amazing but the rooms are falling apart. Its small things but several of them - in the bathroom, the vinyl floor was peeling off and the soap dish had been ripped from the wall. The paint was peeling and carpet was quite dirty. The staff were indifferent. The only saving grace of this hotel is the view. If the hotel billed itself as a 2* or 3* then the review would be better - but this isn't a 4* hotel by any means. At least not today. I can imagine that it was when it was first built but it is in dire need of a renovation.

Room tip: Book for the view. Not much else to recommend it.
