Owner description: Traverse the western shores of Lake Wakatipu and into Mt Aspiring National Park . Let Revolution Tours take you on Queenstowns original fully guided and supported luxury biking and walking tour. After a day of riding in spectacular surroundings you will enjoy a hearty gourmet dinner and perhaps a good wine (or two!). Following that you may choose to rest your weary limbs in front of the fire or soak in the hot tub. Then happily drift off to sleep in one of the quality historic lodges along the trail and wake refreshed for another day of adventure. Because you deserve it. All luggage is transported by our support vehicle to the following nights destination. This leaves you free to enjoy your ride and walk without the extra weight of all your personal belongings. When riding you can cycle at your own pace along mainly flat and rolling farm and back country roads knowing that all your luggage is taken care of. Your experienced guides are there riding with you, on hand to share local knowledge, take spectacular photos and to fix those unfortunate flat tyres! We take the hassle out of your tour planning by taking care of all aspects of your tour. Everything is included in the price of our tours except 'over the bar' drinks. You just decide you want to come along and we take care of the rest. We love this part of New Zealand and can't wait to share this secret paradise with you.

“Paradise indeed”
Reviewed 15 November 2013

We were a group of 10 in our 50-60s and do a trip each year. Unfortunately i broke my arm a week before the trip but wasn't going to miss this one. Needless to say i didn't do the biking bits but was able to do the walks and explore Paradise itself and what a place. Drop dead gorgeous! Matt and Kate know their stuff and are skilled and entertaining hosts. Food, accommodation - everything in fact more than met expectations. Will be recommending this trip to everyone i know!

“Walter Peak Station to Paradise-Nov 2013”
Reviewed 15 November 2013

"O" for Awesome is all we could say for Kate and Matt and their Revolution Tours gig, fantastic.
Although my better half managed to break her arm the week before practicing for this fine event they managed to accomodate and look after Sue as though she was one of the participants, thank you to you all as she was able to at least feel part of it. We are a group whom have done one of these events pretty much every year for the past 12 plus years and this rates right up there with the very best, in fact the meal at Paradise would have to have been the best by Laurence and Carol, Matt's parents. Scenery and exercise is what it is all about (not to mention the copious amounts of food!!) and you definitely get this on a trip filled with a variety of wonderful scenes. We missed the Routeburn walk (done before and Sue couldn't manage) so we walked the farm this day at Paradise an what a lot to discover there, finished it with a fish on the lake and nailed a couple too. Thanks guys, wonderful, caring and knowledgeable hosts. Marty & Sue.

“Paradise found!”
Reviewed 13 November 2013

Every year a group of old friends meet to go on an adventure...age between 56-???..this year was RevolutionTours..the most amazing luxury guided bike/tramping tour at the Top of Lake Wakatipu including Kinloch,Paradise,Routeburn & Glenorchy. The trip exceeded our wildest expectations...our hosts were amazing....they are" living the Dream" & shared it with us! We were pampered and spoilt the entire trip...the food was amazing and loved by us all...we had meals and snacks at every opportunity...(helped keep up the peddle power)...the scenery was superb and accommodation unique, comfortable and cosy! Matt & Kate were beyond helpful and Matts parents were an absolute delight and excellent chefs! I highly recommend every biker to go on this tour as they will experience some of the most beautiful scenery in NZ and the warmest and most generous hosts! The bikes were excellent also....most comfy seats and brilliant gears! I love my bike! All ages could enjoy this trip but especially adults as so much fun is to be had, especially when a group of friends reunite for exercise and fun and lots of laughs!

“Paradise Bike Trail”
Reviewed 12 May 2013

If you are wanting an amazing experience, get a group of friends together (our group ranged in a age from 58 to 67yrs) and join Kate and Matt on Revolution Tours (Paradise Bike Trail).
In March this year (great time to take the trip) we biked and walked through some of New Zealand's best scenery and stayed at the most beautiful historic accommodation.
Some of the trip was a bit of a challenge (hills, but only on the first day) so you need to be reasonably fit. But what a great feeling when we had finished, you look back and think, we did that!
Kate and Matt were the perfect hosts. Nothing was a problem and everything you need is catered for, bikes, food, information and most of all lots of fun.
So Kate and Matt thanks again for everything. We are still spreading the word about our amazing trip, so keep up the good work and we will hopefully see you again. Paula and Paul

“Pedalling to Paradise is well worth it.”
Reviewed 27 March 2013

The 4 day Paradise Trail cycle trip is just fabulous!
With stunning scenery around every bend in the road, excellent historic lodges to stay in AND food that was delicious and plentiful, what more could you ask for.

The bikes were brilliant with very comfortable seats, no sore ‘bits’ for any in our group of 12 riders. Laurence was available in the support vehicle should we ever have needed it.
We were unlucky to get the ONE day of rain this summer when we walked on the Routeburn track, however this did not dampen our spirits. It was also an enjoyable day followed by the most delicious meal cooked specially for us at Paradise Lodge.

As tourists in our own country we couldn’t fault the professionalism, local knowledge and enthusiasm of Kate & Matt. Our trip exceeded everything we had hoped for, thanks so much for a very memorable holiday. Our photos will keep our trip alive for a long time to come, and we will recommend the trip to anyone who will listen! Keep up the good work!
