Good position, 15 minutes walking from city main attractions. Quiet, decent room size. On the contrary, the room cleaning is very poor, and they even inform you about this in a letter that they give you on arriving! Really, I do not think I need to worry, as a Client, about their recruitment or staff issues, this is something that every company should handle. Maybe they need to reduce their rates if they are not able to ensure the correct level of service. Breakfast is poor and very limited.

I am staying here now, the service is so appalling that i felt like i must leave a review for this place. Anyone looking for a holiday inn or any other hotel experience MUST NOT BOOK this place. its worse than a motel! they offer you 15 dollars if you dont clean your room during your stay, they dont have any rooms with baths, they have no room service or any other service that you may expect from a hotel. they dont even provide you with details to contact the restaurant or front desk, you have to pretty much walk down to have a word with them everytime you need anything.

My once in a lifetime trip has been completely and utterly ruined by this very very basic place! they dont even provide you the minimal services like parking! the staff reason that everything is so minimal due to it being express hotel. I am not going to let this ruin my otherwise wonderful trip, but this really is one of the worst places i have ever stayed in.

Room tip: DONT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU ARE JUST NEED A BED FOR THE NIGHT AND ARE WILLING TO PAY $300+ FOR IT

Beautifully designed crisp new building close to town. The hotel seemed to be short staffed at times but staff was well trained and friendly especially Chan the lady taking care of bar area. They made us change rooms for 2 consecutive days which we didn’t appreciate as I lost an expensive jacket in the process .

Room tip: Book car park in advance as they have limited space.

When your hotel says they have car parking you expect that your car will have a spot. After all they are charging 25 a night. Instead they let you check in only to find out there is no spot for your car. And good luck finding a parking spot on the street. This is not four star service. Even motel 8 has parking for you. I would stay away from this hotel. The crown plaza intown is much better . Also they actually have room for
Your car. The breakfast and services are outstanding

Room tip: Avoid at all cost they say they have a car park but it’s not true

We stayed here for 4 nights on our first South Island trip. Everything was perfect. Our room was a standard so not very big but big enough for us! We were a bit wary of the bathroom at first- its a frosted glass cube in the room! But you can’t see through so it wasn’t a problem.
Breakfast is included and we enjoyed a hot breaky each day along with decent coffee!
There are plenty of seating options in the ‘Great Room’ bar/ restaurant/ breakfast area, and the bar staff even made sure the Collingwood AFL match was playing for hubby to enjoy! The bar staff were very friendly, remembering what we drank each night as well!
While we were there, Queenstown was hosting the Snow Machine festival and there were LOTS of skiers/snowboarders staying there. The rooms are all soundproof though so we didn’t hear any-thing! Didn’t even hear the road works happening right outside our window!
We were lucky enough to be able to score a car park - the free one down the road is currently out of action and the road works has taken a lot of street parking.

Room tip: The motel is walking distance to downtown Queenstown, but walk back up via the Gardens as it is less steep! Also easy to get around by bus.
