Although it was a little cramped with 5 passengers and the pilot, the journey more than made up for it. To be able to go from a glacier to the water and all through the mountains in one afternoon was incredibly cool. Our pilot patiently answered our questions and regaled us with stories about his work as a helicopter pilot for TV shows and Hollywood films. It was expensive but one of the better things I've ever done on vacation.

This is our first time to New Zealand, and this tour is the highlight of our journey.
The ground staffs are very professional in arranging the schedule, the pilot is super nice and informative.
It’a not cheap but it’s worth every penny.

My partner and I arranged helicopter flight through GSLH while holidaying in Queenstown. We were not disappointed! We had fantastic communication from the team about about times and weather as well as a complimentary pick up service from our accommodation. Darren was our driver and he was very cool and friendly. Once we arrived, we were greeted and met with the pilots straight away. Chris was out Pilot and we immediately knew we were in good hands. He gave us out the safety spiel and we boarded the chopper. The flight was amazing with beautiful views across Queenstown, the lakes and the Forbes Mountains. Chris' in depth knowledge of the area made for some very informing commentary for the flight. We landed on the glacier for aboit 15 minutes took some great photos and proceeded to head back to base. After today, I wouldn't hesitate at all to recommend GSLH to anybody considering a heli tour while visiting Queenstown.

The Milford Sound helicopter and cruise tour was absolutely breathtaking! Easily one of the most beautiful sites I’ve ever experienced, and it was awesome to get both perspectives of flying over the mountains and sailing through the sound. We were also able to land on a snowcapped mountain as well, which was just unbelievable. The tour is not cheap, but definitely worth every penny!
