Owner description: Ziptrek Ecotours is NZ's #1 Original Zipline tour and is a spectacular eco-adventure through the forest canopy high above Queenstown, situated on Skyline Gondola hill. Ziptrek runs all year round and is stunning whatever the weather. With two tours to choose from it is suitable for everyone, whether looking for an introduction into Queenstown adventure (Moa 4-Line Tour) or wanting the latest gripping eco-exhilaration (Kea 6-Line Tour) which includes the steepest tree to tree zipline in the world.

take the gondola up and make sure you've got some extra time to enjoy the views from there. Then turn left along the mountain bike path and enter the treehouse for the start of the great ziplining adventure. The guides are fast, funny, take enough time to explain things and make sure everybody is safe. If you're cold, there are some additional gloves and beanies. Then its off to nr 1 zipline, just to get into the swing of things. And then it becomes more serious with some great tips from the guides about how to make it even more fun.Its clear from any aspect that this adventure is designed from scratch maximising fun and at the same time with the greatest care for the environment. Its a great balance of fast adrenaline rushes hanging up side down on the steepest zipline in the world, to enjoying the views over beautiful queenstown, to learning a bit about our world and how we can care for it better. It's great fun for all ages, and its definitely one of the best activities I've ever done.

This is a must while in Queenstown and definitely worth doing the 6 line tour. Our guides Inge and Jill were complete legends and had a great laugh with them. Felt completely safe the hole time and it was really cool to hear about the work there doing with charities such as KIVA.

If your in Queenstown make sure this is one of your activities!!!

The ziplines are brilliant, the tree houses are brilliant, but the guides (Trudy & Inge for us) really make this memorable. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that all the ziplines except the last were connected. It's kind of cool to traverse that much terrain without your feet touching the ground. The other thing that is impressive is the safety protocol and the efficiency of the guides as they execute it. The guides were energetic, fun women with a talent for making us smile and getting us to do crazy stuff on the lines.
