After four nights of mediocrity we walked in to Muskets and Moonshine. It was very busy downstairs but we were shown to a table upstairs overlooking the bustle of the street. The staff were friendly and efficient. Our server was stand out and did everything she could to make sure we enjoyed our evening.
We ordered the slow cooked lamb leg with three sides included. While it is not fine dining it is definitely excellent food. The portion was huge. We are big eaters and we could not finish the roast between us. The sides were tasty and generous, lamb fell off the bone and the position, although not on the lake, made for interesting meal time watching.
Overall we have been disappointed with the food in this tourist meca but Muskets and Moonshine will be a definite when we are back here.
