We shared a two bedroom apartment room here with friends for three days. Close to shops and stored and restaurants. Included two bedrooms, two baths and a kitchen. Very nice property with parking right under the rooms. ONLY problem was a slip on the stairs in the unit, as they are very narrow and tight groping from the upstairs down to the bedrooms, so cautions advised. Staff was helpful and friendly, and retained our bags for an afternoon before we left for Wanaka. By using get kitchen, it makes Queenstown much more affordable for large groups!

Stayed for two nights, 1st floor with lake view.
the motel is a bit dated, but a least the bathroom is decent.
great location, just walking distance to city center and botanic garden
the balcony is not private though.

You can beat the location of the hotel, Just in front of lake wakatipu and you can view the lake through your window. Actually
2 days prior we stayed at the hotel next to this hotel, the lodges and we think the lodges was better than this hotel. The room was big enough but really need improvement especially in the kitchennette. It was old and looked dirty and we found out the old stove was broken. Reception lady did not want to change a room for us instead of calling somebody to fix it so we waited for 30 minute to see an electrician fixed the stove. The bed was comfortable and equipped with electric heat blanket.
