Stayed for two nights, 1st floor with lake view.
the motel is a bit dated, but a least the bathroom is decent.
great location, just walking distance to city center and botanic garden
the balcony is not private though.

We shared a two bedroom apartment room here with friends for three days. Close to shops and stored and restaurants. Included two bedrooms, two baths and a kitchen. Very nice property with parking right under the rooms. ONLY problem was a slip on the stairs in the unit, as they are very narrow and tight groping from the upstairs down to the bedrooms, so cautions advised. Staff was helpful and friendly, and retained our bags for an afternoon before we left for Wanaka. By using get kitchen, it makes Queenstown much more affordable for large groups!

You can beat the location of the hotel, Just in front of lake wakatipu and you can view the lake through your window. Actually
2 days prior we stayed at the hotel next to this hotel, the lodges and we think the lodges was better than this hotel. The room was big enough but really need improvement especially in the kitchennette. It was old and looked dirty and we found out the old stove was broken. Reception lady did not want to change a room for us instead of calling somebody to fix it so we waited for 30 minute to see an electrician fixed the stove. The bed was comfortable and equipped with electric heat blanket.

Reasonable priced motel walking distance to town. Across from Lake wakatipu. Only 4 tv channels not good for this day and age. Bathroom was modern although it lacked any hooks to hand anything and the shower had nowhere to put the soap. You get 1gb free WiFi for 5 devices which would be great if you can log on. Friendly welcome by girl in reception and helpful as well. If you're not looking for anything special and are on a budget then stay here. The heater was on for our arrival which was welcoming. All in all we would probably choose to spend one night here again.

The motel is at the quiet part of Queenstown, and located just beaide the lake. The building is old, but the 2-bedroom unit that we stayed in is clean and tidy. Staffs are helpful and prompt to our requests for replenishing room toiletries and coffee/tea supplies. Free wifi is only 2gb per access given, additional data can be purchased at the reception. The motel is value for money considering the location near town.

Walk to city center, lake is just in front, priceless views. The apartment is bit old and tight, but reasonable for the price and location. The couple in the reception was friendly and helpful, also provided helpful info to plan our stay here.
Limited parking available, parking is bit tough in the evening and night, but available during the day, anyway street parking is available.
I would recommend this place to anyone/family wants to experience Queenstown city center and activities nearby.
Room tip: All rooms are facing the lake. But top floor rooms have a better view than lower floor rooms.
