We found Ramada through Hotels.com. It provided us with relatively affordable accommodation close to Queenstown (approx 15 minutes drive from main town centre).
The hotel was close to the airport, making it easy to find. There was a small shopping centre about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The check-in process was quite simple, as we had booked/paid completely before our arrival.
The concierge was so warm and helpful. They not only provided us with useful recommendations and tips. At one point, they also assisted us with removing frost from our rental car.
The studio was perfect for my partner and I. It had a dishwasher, fridge, microwave, electric stove, washer and dryer in the space. The bed was also very comfortable to sleep in, with more than enough pillows to spare. Shampoo was not provided, though liquid soap was accessible in the shower and near the sink.
One of the few criticisms that I have relates to the plates/glasses. Some of the glasses had some rough areas on the outside, making me question whether they were clean enough. The staff need to be slightly more cognisant of small details, as these make a massive difference.
The construction happening close to Ramada did not affect our experience. Most of the time, we were away from the hotel when work was taking place, so we did not notice any effects whatsoever. More
