Displayed sushi was so nice and manager was so kind to us.
Specially seaweed inari sushi was my favorite. And that didn't disappoint me.
Also good price in queenstown.

It was our first trip to Queenstown, and it has been phenomenal experiences on top of that this lovely decorated Japanese restaurant added more to it. The Foods were amazing, also been served in a very pleasant manner from all staffs. Thank you so much, would love to visit here again for awesome foods and people.

My boyfriend and I had been to Hikari in Queenstown but not to the recently opened one in Five Mile. We braved the peak hour traffic to find it pretty bustling at around 5pm, but we managed to get a table as people were leaving.

We decided to try a couple of items off the menu instead of the sushi. Although the sushi looked good I wasn't sure how long it had been sitting in the cabinet and it didn't appear to be refrigerated. I decided with the cold weather I'd prefer a hot meal anyway. I ordered the vegetable tempura udon and my boyfriend had the chicken katsu.

The food came out really quickly which was great because we were pretty hungry. There were only 3 pieces of tempura vegetable served on the side of my udon noodles which was a bit disappointing because they were really yum, and because I had asked for no prawns, I thought they might put a little bit more vegetable in there. Oh well. The udon noodles were tasty, but no other vegetables or anything in them.

The chicken katsu was also really tasty and seemed to be a good serving size. I tasted a bit of the chicken and it was tender and yum. Lots of people were coming in to get take away sushi so it's clearly a popular spot in the area with lots of new shops opening up.

The staff were friendly and I really enjoyed the 90's music playing while we were eating our food!
