Beautiful escape.

We loved our stay at the lodge. It was so peaceful. You definitely have to do the Milford boat cruise while here. The lodge offers transportation to and from the activity.
Another must do is the restaurant at the lodge. The venison was absolutely delicious.
If your planning a trip to Milford the lodge is the perfect place to stay, it also is a nice way to break up the trip. We stayed in one of the chalets it was so lovely. The staff are also super friendly and helpful.

Yes a bit pricey, but the chance to wake up with wekas and other birdlife outside your campervan was a treat. Didn't see an keas unfortunately. Facilities for campers was awesome. Note, there is no cellphone coverage. There is internet wireless you can purchase.

The carpark at Milford was $50 per night (really?? 50 bucks for a carpark?) so we decided to have a look at the Lodge's campsite. Mind you, there's no connection in Milford so we had to go and check it out in person.
Definitely one of the best campsites we've seen, friendly staff and great facilities.
Proper showers included in the price and gas stoves for cooking.
All camping spots are well looked after and private enough.
I definitely recommend this place.

As a family of 3, this was an amazing stay! If you are staying in the garden chalet(s), they are incredible! Super modern, great walk in shower, awesome TV, with Disney+, Netflix, Prime tv, Neon , google, YouTube, and Sky tv. Plus when you turn it off, it poses as a picture frame! There is also the Pio Pio restaurant, where you can get dinner or lunch, incredible quality food! Absolutely delicious. You even get served breakfast to the door in the mornings on a tray! Gorgeous stay, would 100% recommend, although it is pricy, it is totally worth it!! 5/5. Staff super friendly, helpful and informative. (Reviewed with enthusiastic assistance by our 10 year old).

My friend and I stayed here after walking the Milford Track. We were blown away by the room and how the staff went out of their way to help. Nothing was a problem and they genuinely just wanted to look after us. The food is first class and they really know how to make good espresso.
Great wifi and the beds are very comfortable!
Milford is a beautiful spot and the way the rooms look out on the mountains is stunning.
We both highly recommend staying a couple of nights.

Totally unexpected find in Milford. A great luxury base camp to see and do everything Milford Sound has too offer. Would definetly recomend a stay here, we were lucky enough to enjoy a mountain view chalet. Thanks to the friendly and helpful staff for making our stay special. A big shout out to Ellen who really made us feel very welcome.
