It's never great when you arrive for check in and your booking can't be found. Within 2 minutes Real Journeys staff identified we had mistakenly booked tickets for a trip a month earlier! Flawless customer service was demonstrated with no judgement 'mistakes happen' and tickets issued without a question or a negative comment. Great boat with plenty of room for our young son and a beautiful tour. We could move easily between our seats and the top deck for fantastic views and very close encounters with waterfalls and seals. A great two hours.

Tip - ensure you book an included lunch as there are very limited other options and nothing at the terminal other than a vending machine.
There is no need to arrive the recommended 20 minutes early but the boats are punctual and leave on time.

Thanks to Real Journeys we had an excuse to cruise overnight on the Milford Mariner to support KidsCan. The bus from Queenstown to Milford didn’t excite us. But after meeting our driver Carl and listening to him we swiftly changed our minds. Fantastic, knowledgeable and a very smooth driver transformed what could have been an arduous journey into a joy. The boat was amazing also. The cabins were comfortable and the crew awesome. We were lucky enough to have a fine day and saw penguins and seals. Absolutely worth the trip and excellent value for money.

You never realky know what the weather is going to be like in Milford Sound until you're there so, with a forecast of rain, we kept our fingers crossed. We had rain, fog, mist, sunshine - all seasons in one day - but it created an amazing atmosphere of a brooding mystical landscape. No issues with the travel - on time and all arrivals and departures without issue. A comfortable bus, a pleasing lunch box, excellent commentary and a good sized boat (Mariner - nature cruise) that provided plenty of great vantage points over three levels for those award winning pics, all contributed to the great experience. It's a fair drive from Queenstown so much happier to have some who knows those roads well do the driving. Highly recommended.

My husband and I were taken aback by the gorgeous surroundings. We went on the Nature Cruise departing Queenstown. It is a long day, but I would do it again. Chima was the kindest guide. She lent her personal mobile to a lady who was with her 12 yo girl and they had to change travel arrangements. The driver was really good was well. Super recommend!
