Over priced these days for what you get, chips are good but a rip off for the amount. Service is a hit and a miss depending who you get, place often stinks of old fat and cigarette smoke.

This place is a legit Chinese takeaway! The food is authentic and delicious. The staff is great—friendly and efficient. Definitely a go-to spot for Chinese cuisine.

Super dissatisfied and disappointed with my experience at the ascot! I love your guys food and customer service but this time round a rude lady took tone with me on the phone after I repeated myself to hear 3 times and then when I enter the shop I was given major attitude from 2 feamle staff. Extremely disappointed I asked for a chow main meal with no beef because my partner can’t have beef due to religious reason and I was given a beef chow main 😭 the quality just wasn’t upto standard .

If you want to pay $9 for 23 chips this is the place to go 😂

Popped over road from motel to this awesome wee Chinese takeout, amazing variety of food, ordered meal and made adjustments to it, they even suggested what I could add or take off it, ready 1 minutes later, tasted and smelled beautiful. Recommend this place if you are in Invercargill bu the Bp on Tay Street
