Staying at a local motel a large group of us decided not to drink and drive and ordered from Ascot. We got an assortment of dishes and they delivered quickly too. Great Food, great value, authentic Cantonese flavours and more than we could eat, giving our left overs to our neighbours for breakfast, we can totally recommend this great local takeaway.

We were not 100% convinced about this one, but a local stopped us outside the shop and said, " her family buys from Ascot every week."
So in we went, placed our order - they are so busy- the food would always be fresh.
Not sure what it is with NZ Chinese Meals, they are always so big. We had enough chinese for two nights.

Pretty standard menu. Food good. Prices are good. I didn't phone my order, but wait time was only about 15 mins which I thought was pretty reasonable. Provided an alternative to room service when staying at the Ascot Park Hotel and not feeling like eating in the restaurant.

Sweet and sour pork is recommended and fried noodle too. No need to wait for long and the staff are friendly.

Crisp batter on the blue cod and the beer battered chips meant I ate far more than I should have. Will definitely go there again, and will try the Chinese food next time. We have called in there before and the batter on the blue cod was crispy then, so had decided to try it again, and we were not disappointed.
