Not many places you go to and chef brings your wine and meal
Absolutely cannot recommend 148 enough

My wife and I were driving through and this restaurant was recommended by our hosts. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was delectable! I would highly recommend if you are looking for a fine dining experience.

We were here for our mid winter get together for Te Whatu Ora (Mental Health directorate) (we all paid for ourselves by the way) it was a fabulous night, great company and the food was absolutely exquisite. Thanks to the wonderful owners for the outstanding presentation of food and great to see the glasshouse out the back where they grow their own produce. Sonja's talent to remember all our drinks and went we went to pay remembered exactly what each of us had - remarkable memory. Thanks for the lovely evening and the open fire too :)

Great meals and service. They even pull out the chairs ready for you to sit! Definitely recommend this place
