Elegance at 148 on Elles is the best restaurant in Invercargill . The atmosphere is fantastic, the staff are amazing and the food is devine. The waitress is amazing as she does not write down any drinks required or the food and it comes out to the correct people. She has a very good memory and is always smiling. I would certainly recommend this restaurant as I have not been to anywhere better. Keep up the excellent work. I will be spreading the word to everyone.

Absolutely beautiful! The service is amazing, wine is stunning and the food even better. Oysters as an entree nice and plump, pork belly main just Devine some pork belly you get has too much fat but this was perfect with silky mashed potato’s and on point crackling. Dessert was crumble and full of flavour. Why do I not come here more often!

Elegance is a quiet at 6pm on a Monday. Only one other table when I get there.
Not sure how a kitchen can prep with such a large menu on a slow evening.
Anyways, Bluff oysters are in season and I’m in the south so I get raw oysters ( prepared with two different sauces) chips and a salad.
Tasty but not too special.
3 stars but gets a 4th cause I liked the red front door and up step stairs to get to dining room

Stunning flavours, friendly service, sunny airy restaurant. One to definitely recommend if visiting Invercargill.
