Invercargill is unlike Dunedin in the fact that it is more spread out over a wider area.

I carn't say the Tower Lodge is a stone's throw from the Town Centre BUT the Tower Lodge is close to other major attractions i.e The Bill Richardson Transport Centre, Ascot Racecourse, PAK & SAVE, Countdown etc

Hop in the car & the Town centre is a short couple of minutes drive away, depending on the traffic.

The Tower Lodge is good clean & affordable accommodation, which if I return to Invercargill for the Ascot Races I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

This motel rated the number 1 motel in invercargill on trip advisor is justified. The location is great - central to queens park and the city. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. Host James is really friendly and extremely helpful with recommendations of places to eat and things to do, not only in Invercargill but enroute to Te Anau also. We had a great two night stay.

The rooms are clean, modern and really comfortable. Staff are really friendly and helpful with recommendations of places to eat etc. We had a great three night stay, our daughter especially enjoyed being able to watch her youtube channels and netflix titles from her bed! thanks and we are looking forward to coming back soon.
