Looks lovely from outside and just as comfortable inside. We had the family room (only because that it was all that was left). Large rooms, yes bathroom is a bit small, but it is adequate. Nice clean and modern with clean kitchenette. Enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Owners kindly helped out with an injury.

I seem to be going against the trend with this review, but I like to tell it like it is! There are a large number of motels along Tay Road, and this Colonial looks attractive from the outside. However, our motel room is dated in its design, and in my view is badly designed. The front living/dining area is large and attractive and leads to a galley kitchen which functions well with its sink, fridge, microwave and hot plate. This then leads to a shower/vanity/toilet area which is all partitioned, small and cramped. The shower enclosure is roomy, but the water saving flow is not satisfactory. And then there is the bedroom which is also small with the queen bed taking up most of the room, and with the pillow end against the window. I quickly decide to use the front room as a dressing room! However, there are positives too. We enjoy the continental breakfast provided. And the unit is clean, quiet and warm, there are two good sized TVs, and electric blankets. There are carpets on the floor, and on arrival the unit is nicely presented. The bedroom has a wardrobe, case rest and mirror. The free wifi works well, and there is a power board which is useful for recharging, I would make this a 3+ if that were possible!
