We arrived without a booking but the friendly staff made us feel very welcome. I also asked to inspect the room (I have been caught out at a couple of motels before) which was not a problem. The room was spacious and very clean, the bed was comfortable so we had a really good nights sleep. My only niggle, and it is not a biggie, the shower in our room (the disabled unit) did spread out a bit and I had to put a towel down as I thought it was going to run onto the carpet.
All in all, very friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room. I would stay here again. :-)

We spend one night here while visiting Invercargill. Noel was great and very helpful and the room was excellent. Really enjoyed my stay here and will visit again. One of the things I found excellent is the pillows which were great as so often you don't get good pillows and the room was clean and well present. We stayed in the family room

Got 9 hours sleep in this very cozy and tidy motel after travelling up from Stewart Island. Really impressed. Yes, the room is somewhat compact, but that suits the single traveller. And the staff were very cheerful and smiled a lot. Makes a big difference and I felt very welcome. Highly recommended
