had an unexpected trip to Invercargill, had to find accommodation quickly, looked trip advisor and the Townsman came , up with good review.
It was all true the place is very close to town, very clean and the staff, kind and friendly. Beds (big and comfortable) were made each day, towels replace. would highly recommend.

Our second trip down here and we automatically booked this motel again. The rooms are very spacious, clean and have all the amenities needed. Laundry is also available. Easy walking to may places, the owners and staff are super friendly and will store your excess luggage if you go to Stewart Island. (They also have a cottage on Stewart Island if you are looking !)

Lovely accommodation with friendly helpful owners and staff. The suite had recently been renovated and decorated and was very clean throughout. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was nice and quiet. Unit has smallish kitchen but as we only had breakfast there this wasn't a problem. We enjoyed our time in Invercargill so much that we stayed an extra night. Very good value and we would definitely stay here again.
Stayed overnight, easy to find, close to town, supermarket, petrol station. Very clean, huge spacious unit, only let down, no cooking facilities. Had a great sleep, very quiet considering Hotel seemed full and on a major road. Staff very friendly and helpful, would stay again.
This place has become my motel of choice in invercargill. I come through for a week every couple of months and they are the loveist people to deal with. Nice rooms that have been renovated so they are warm and cozy. Comfy beds, nice shower and nice new tvs! Keep up the awesome work guys!

I was allocated a room in the new wing of this motel. The room was spotless being new. The room had double glazing so was quiet. The large screen TV was paired with Netflix, SKY TV, and regular free to air channels.
The kitchen was limited with only a microwave so the ability to cook was not great. I also found the bed was not as comfortable and many other options.
