My sister and I stayed for 3 nights while touring the South Island and were very impressed by the service provided by Shona and Greg - nothing was too much trouble! Our room heater was turned on for us when we returned late from a day trip to Stewart Island which we appreciated. Our Unit contained all we needed and was VERY clean and tidy. We made use of the DVDs provided in Reception and also utilised the laundry facilities as we were travelling north to Kaikoura. Thanks for a wonderful stay Shona and Greg.

Room tip: You cannot go past this Motel if you require accommodation in Invercargill.

We booked for one night and ended up staying three. Surrey Court was a lovely comfortable place for us to recover from several weeks road tripping in the South Island. Everything was so very clean and tidy.
The one bedroom unit was cosy, used the heater first night for an hour or two (probably cuz I was super tired) but didn’t need it again. Bed was so comfortable and warm. I was traveling with my two children and they slept on a divan and fold out sofa in lounge and both said they slept well. We were able to get our washing done and dried easily. The kitchen was well supplied with all we required. The location is central, the layout of the motel is such that it feels very spacious and the carpark has plenty of manoeuvring room.
The motel might be slightly older than the newer more cramped designs but is very roomy and Shona is pedantic about keeping the place extra clean and ‘just right’ for their guests. Greg & Shona are so friendly and welcoming, felt like friends immediately.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Although it is on a main road traffic noise was not an issue as very little seemed to use the road overnight. We had a studio but the bedroom was separate from the living area which had a sofa, table and chairs and a kitchen area. All clean and well maimtained.

Stayed 2 nights in this lovely clean, tidy motel. The owners were very helpful in advising us on the area. The unit was spacious and had everything we needed. The only downfall to this motel was the couch- the most uncomfortable thing I have ever sat on!! As it is a pull out couch (that can be used as an extra bed) the bar was digging into our legs and when you try to get up it pinches and really hurts. Solution would be to put bigger cushion swaps on, or upgrade to new couches.

This motel is amongst the cleanest I have ever stayed in. The owner Greg and his wife are really friendly and very helpful if you don't know your way around. The motel is located a little out of the main part of town which is great for a good nights sleep. A fully equipped kitchen makes meals easy and a large lounge area makes it easy to relax and spend time with your firends/family. Thanks Greg for a great stay.
