Took out of town family to the museum (which was awesome) and decided have a late lunch. Very impressed with the selection of different foods which were a departure from the norm but still had old favourites. Great service and coffee

Thank Kenny P

We have been to Meccaspresso multiple times, the Service and food is always amazing, So it was our first choice when organizing our daughters Pre Ball function.
From start to finish everything was perfect, Brenda is the most amazing lady to host these types of things, Efficient, calm, polite and friendly, she handled everything from start to finish even when the number of people arriving doubled on the night.
The food from Darryl in the kitchen was to die for,he does the most amazing food, the girls who would usually not eat were absolutely loving it and I got nothing but glowing reports about every aspect. We feasted on pork belly, southern fried chicken, white bait, salmon, bean dips and veges, venison etc.
I would not hesitate to recommend Meccaspresso for daytime dining or night time functions, Perfection from start to finish!! Thank you Brenda and Meccaspresso for such a wonderful Pre Ball function for our daughter. 10 out of 10!!!
I would not hesitate to recommend this as a place for casual dining or for functions.

The counter food looked amazing and the salted caramel chocolate cake to die for. So I had a piece. The other half had a massive cheese roll along with a coffee each. The decor is so cool and a trip to the loo a must, whether you need to or not. Great service to top it all off. A MUST in Invercargill

Meccaspresso was recommended by our hotel as was the Motor bike museum our first visit was on Tuesday 10th April we arrived just after 1 o'clock the place was very busy almost all tables full. We got menus and sat down one of the staff let us know that a very large group were about to order and if we were in a hurry we could sneak in before them . We ordered the chicken taco salad , lamb sliders , lambs fry and the blue cod sliders two glasses of wine and two apple ciders. The food came out very quickly it was delicious very generous portions and great presentation . The service was excellent considering how busy this place was the lady looking after us still had the time to tell us about their other restaurant The Grille and Transport World both of which we visited the next day /night. All in all top rate experience. Based on this we went back the next day we arrived just on lunch time and again the cafe was humming the first difference was no welcome no smiles seemed to be all different staff we ordered from the cabinet as well as some house wedges as we saw them going out the day beforeand they looked amazing . The wedges arrived promptly followed soon after by our cabinet choices our coffees were soon to follow all excellent. This is where the good experience finished there was a chap bringing the food and drinks who we heard swearing a number of times each time he passed our table he either laughed or said something we couldn't quite make out , we felt uncomfortable and decided to leave before we finished our food. We honestly felt like we had visited two different cafes .
