I arrived here on a wet and wild Thursday night, they offered me a studio unit at the front of the hotel facing Cumberland Street, they offered me a satisfactory rate but did charge an additional $12.50 for parking, I feel this should be included in the room rate.
Becky on reception was polite and helpful, she did not have any car parks available for me so she offered me her park when she knocked off work. Thank you.
The room was noisy, I’m not sure if the windows are double glazed or not but the street noise suggests not.
The shower is amazingly good, such fantastic pressure and hot, one of the best!
The Merino wool blanket on the bed is a good quality Warwick brand, proudly British Made... why is this not a New Zealand Made Merino product?... just why? No excuse.
I would stay here again, I think the experience is in line with the rate paid for the room, if you want better pay more at a better hotel, simple.More
