We booked into this property to stay while we were at a two day training course. We arrived after 3 hours of driving to be told there was no onsite parking available and we were to go to the public carpark around the corner. I am surprised this isn't a key question asked during the reservation process so that guests aren't caught like we were. The additional parking was $115 for the full two days, so that should be factored in when deciding about costs.

The room was OK, however I was surprised to come back at the end of the day to a towel on the floor of the bathroom however the bed was made. While I appreciated the lovely coffee bag, only one was provided each day.

The location is fantastic, however not enough to overcome the other issues. I will certainly be looking to other options when staying in the city again.

the sonic Hotel is a hotel that could be better.

The staff was friendly and tried to be helpful, The lobby clean, the breakfast fine but not outstanding. Elevator service OK.

First of all there is NO air conditioning in the rooms and the rooms either face the street or the afternoon sun. It was a problem when we arrived but it is claimed it was unusually hot. Aside from that control of the rooms environment warm or cool would be a concern.

The public hallway on the floor we were in needed a renovation and the carpet was gray with dirt. The individual room were clean and orderly.

The hotel restaurant was OK but it seemed that only one of two was operating (although it appeared that there was another restaurant in the attached casino.

The location of the hotel was at the edge of the "downtown". The Octagon which is the center was 2 blocks away.

It was a quick check in and an easy check out the following morning. Staff were all welcoming and friendly.
Our breakfast was included and there was a good spread of choice.
The room itself was spacious. Our twin accommodation included two double beds that were comfortable.
The bathroom was of adequate size, good water pressure and soft towels.
