Comfy room with nice large queen sized bed. Great view over harbour. Good sized bathroom with complimentary bath stuff. Plenty of storage space. Easy walk to pubs and restaurants. Lovely town with lots to see, including Lanarch Castle and many other historic buildings.

Very centrally located. Parking might be a problem - you can book parking at the hotel in advance - and that is a good idea - we had to park another place.
Rooms fine, bathrooms OK - no noise at your room.
Breakfast is buffet style - and is acceptable.

I was room 715, AC, spacious, study table for my computer gear, dinner table, lighting, comfortable, spent 3 nights. down in Dunedin on Business. All amenities within. WIFI was easy and unlimited. I had swordfish one night and rump steak with mushroom sauce two nights, so delicous. All the staff were friendly, courteous, helpful and professional. Attired regal standard.I had an amazing conversation with one of the wait staff who is studying neuroscience psychology, my back ground is forensic psychology. Breakfast was declicous, cooked for 3 mornings. Overweight now, jogging it off. Thanks Scenic Hotel. I'm from the North Island.

I stayed in a large, clean room with air conditioning. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable. The restaurant was not open during the visit. Convenient location to walk around the city.

Great Location for the Octagon New Year’s party. Clean rooms, great service, but the dinner menu was very blan. Our Sordfish was delicious but boiled potato and broccoli on a tomato sauce base was very average. Menu needs updated with a little more improvement and imagination
