After a horror transit from Auckland I was late for check in, tired and stressed. So nice to find the office held open for my arrival, extra blankets offered, and a warm welcome that set me up beautifully to prepare for my NZ adventure!

1 night in Dunedin so booked a cabin here.
Easily found and a warm smiling welcome.
This is a small campground that also offers cabins for a great price, good level of equipment too kettle fridge toaster and cutlery all in your cabin.
There is a community kitchen too..
And the shorts are clean and hot water.
Is a little walk from town crisp transport is required.
Highly recommend

Came from australia took family to Dunedin for a few days. A camp site was 100.00 per night. We could not plug into the power as they have a special power point. When I asked if they had an attachment they said no and said I should have known I needed one. I went to 3 hardware and camp shops no one knew about the attachments so we had no power. Campground very small very basic facilities and outdated. Staff gave very vague unhelpful directions to the glow worm caves so we never did find them. Staff in fact were quite rude most of the time and could not be bothered to assist. Found the stay very unappealing. They have pay only pool $2 A game and a toy vending machine which is also $2 A go. Playground very basic a seesaw and worn out mini type trampoline. Would never stay with them again.

This is out of Dunedin and unless you want to drive into town you will need to catch a taxi as it is also a long walk, but this place is very peaceful, they have grassy powered sites a large common dining area just off the camp kitchen the toilets and showers are clean with great water pressure and hot water. There is a stream that runs behind the camp ground which is very nice to listen to whilst reading also a great walking track that after dark you can walk along to see glow worms.

Stayed via campervan. Spacious parking space between each lot. We had the lot facing the stream. Nice gushing sound of water in nature to relax to. Friendly staff that welcome us, I think mostly family.
Showers and pantry are in good conditions. Big dinning communal area with fire place, pool table, table tennis table and kids play house.
City and restaurants are further out, may need to drive, not walk.
