Bruce is a wonderful collector, offering an assortment of interesting historical artefacts from around the world, natural wonders, art and curiosities. The best attraction I have visited in Aotearoa. A must see in Dunedin!
I can’t recommend this spot enough. Bruce is kind and generous with his time and the museum’s collection is varied and fascinating. A must visit in Dunedin!!
An amazing experience! Full of natural and unnatural wonders, a thrilling experience for the whole family, I think we spent nearly a whole hour there and was definitely worth the cost and Koha.
There are surprises around every corner of this incredible museum. You will gasp and you will laugh. You will see fantastic things you did not know existed, and also some ordinary things with extraordinary origin stories.
It was a very good place to visit. Great views in every room. So many things to see and was good to see. Was very good to visit.
Bruce Mahalski’s private ‘Museum of Natural Mystery’ is many things….quirky, curious, a little weird and off beat but mostly really interesting, cleverly curated and well narrated with interesting bio’s and anecdotes.
We spent an easy 1.5 hours learning and observing a range of exhibits and displays that I’d never seen nor considered before. A trip here is educational, humorous, informative and quirky, well worth the $10 entry fee!
Bruce was a great host and very happy to chat and answer any questions.
Highly recommended, whether you’re a local or visitor to Dunedin.
