Hands down one of the best collections I’ve ever seen.
Absolutely amazing.
Bones and artifices all over the world, with great write ups about each piece.
Highly recommended.

Fantastic collection.
Curator Bruce is a very knowledgeable and interesting gentleman, if you have any questions about the museum, don’t hesitate to ask him about it. Highly recommend.

You could spend hours in there if you care to read the labels, to find out more about the exhibits.

The kind of small, quirky museum that actually surprises you, actually makes you laugh out loud, and you actually never forget! You'll tell people who are visiting Dunedin that they can't miss it - and when they go, they'll text you saying "whoa! thanks for the tip!"

Bruce's artworks from bones, fossils, skulls and entire skeletons are on display in one room. You'll see a lot of his street arts and posters around town too. The other rooms are crammed full of incredible things from the natural world as well as quirky artefacts you didn't even know you were curious about, and leathery old books with titles such as The Intimate Sex Lives of Famous People.

Kids can take a selfie with antler horns. Teens can get some fun photos for Instagram. Oh and there are tui birds in the garden making some incredible bird song so, all up, a great New Zealand visit!

This was such an interesting and unusual museum! I would highly recommend spending a few hours here looking at and reading about the fascinating exhibits. I was very interested to see the items from Seacliff as I had a family member there, and have a great interest in Janet Frame and her life. The owner, Bruce, is a very talented and interesting man, and it was great reading about parts of his and his family's life and seeing his very original art. My teenage son loved it, and I will definitely bring the rest of the family another time.
