A beautiful day for dining outside, this beautiful Villa with lovely garden is the perfect setting to enjoy a meal & a glass of wine. we were escorted to a outside table which was dirty I had to ask the waitress if she could wipe it down. We ordered starters & a shared platter for our main, the waitress asked we wanted all food to come together & we asked for the starters first so we could have a rest before the platter but all the food arrive at the same time. The shared platter was delicious & plentiful just would have been nice to have a bit of cheese on it. We will visit again for dinner as the lunch menu was fish & chips, burgers & the breakfast/brunch food which look nice but we were nott there for breaakfast. Service could have been better as we had to leave our meal & go inside to the bar to get a drink.

ordered cocktails and told by waitress that there was no fresh fruit available to put in them, we ordered them without but there was no reduction made to our bill.
squid entree was actually the nicest thing that came across our table.
pork belly entree for $16 consisted of 5 x small cubes of very bland pork and was very disappointing
ribeye steak medium rare...... well for $39 you at least expect the chef to produce a steak better than i could cook at home myself and i drive trucks for a living, accompanied by potatoes roasted in duck fat that looked and tasted like they were cooked the previous day.
duck breast, no crispy skin!!! 3 x pieces of broccoli and a pear cut in half again $38 and not worth it
dessert, raspberry mess, and i would seriously doubt any of this was actually made by a chef on site. more like it was assembled from cheap ingredients bought at the supermarket, dry sponge and topped with a crumbled inedible factory made meringue.$16

paid my bill with my eftpos card and to add further insult i have just noticed i was also charged a $5 service fee .
told the cashier i was very disappointed with the meal.
waitress's were good but the food was sub standard
save yourself $150 bucks and take your business elsewhere

I've driven past this place so many times and never thought about going in, so when the opportunity arose at Christmas times I popped in to taste its delights. What an awesome layout and what great service. Set up like an old homestead house with a bar at the back. Has a fine finish look to it and the atmosphere was great. Food was good and the staff couldn't be more helpful! I'll be back as Arnie says!

We met as three old school friends for coffee and a catchup 60 years after leaving school. A great place for coffee and socialising. The coffee was good as was the setting.

4 people looking to enjoy some good conversation over high-quality food.
Two entrées sampled; Farmhouse loaf with garlic butter (which was puréed and far too runny and pesto. Buttermilk Fried Chicken, this was tasty.
Mains: Venison Rump, the venison was excellent but not so with the accompaniments. The best part of this was the broccoli. The main vegetable portion was a purée of green peas, salsa verde, green tahini, mint, edamame beans and fennel. The extremely dominant flavour was mint and the fennel proved numbing in the mouth. The venison could not cope with this assault. A sirloin steak had been prepared in a sous vide. Unfortunately we chose this over a "non-sous vide (never again). The steak was mushy to cut. It came with duck fat roast potatoes, asparagus, and broccoli these were well prepared.
Overall presentation was good, the service was very good. The wine, Pegasus Bay Merlot Cabernet & Jules Taylor Pinot Noir indicated the bottles had been open for a while as the edge had gone.
