Stayed here for two nights while touring Christchurch and the surrounding area. The hotel appears to be all suites and they are quite large and very comfortable. Ours had a minibar area that was quite handy. Due to nonstop rain from cyclone Cook, we had dinner there one evening. It was very good for a hotel and was served by a friendly and very young staff. The restaurant is a cross between a bar and a cafe, so it's a bit more casual than many hotel restaurants at this level of hotel. Many of the selections were tapas-inspired. The continental breakfast is a bit skinny, but the hot breakfast options are very good and well prepared. I give the hotel four stars because it is more of a boutique than a full service five star. I would stay here again.
