We have stayed at Ibis Chch many times since it opened around 2008 and always found staff hospitable, our simple room, clean and comfortable and meals (including very good breakfasts) more than adequate although on this visit we noticed the menu had been simplified, probably because Covid-19 has so affected travel ad tourism. Ideally located next to Cathedral Square, within easy walking of main shopping precinct and wonderful Oxford Tce eateries, this may not measure up to four or five star but it suits us extremely well for pricing, a good bed (very important), location, a bar plus restaurant and also a guests laundry which is most helpful. We'll be back next year. More
