High grade personable hospitality and classic establishment; exquisitely preserved. Terrific doorstep access to a vibrant urban scene, cafe's, mall, gardens, boutiques and restaurants. Rooms were beautiful and clean with a cosy but spacious vibe. The hosts were on hand for friendly local advice or requests. Merivale Manor is a vintage Christchurch landmark,... preserving the bygone era of when things were done properly and how it should be when you expect quality from service through to the facilities. We will be back again soon for sure.

Absolutely perfect stray here...the hosts were amazingly friendly & even gave us a potato to 'waterproof' our windscreen as the classic car wipers decided to stop!! Nothing was a problem & will definitely stay again Thank you Wayne & Karen

My bridal party stayed here over the weekend and and Wayne and Karen were Great hosts! Nothing was an issue and helped us make everything run smoothly they accommodated our wedding cars too! Five stars from the new Mr and Mrs!
