This is one of Christchurch's icons but like so many things, has been neglected after the earthquakes. Restored to its former glory, it is a pleasant attraction for locals a tourists alike and sometimes even tells the right time.
The Floral Clock is an icon of Christchurch that was not destroyed by the quake. It changes during the year and it is worth seeking out.
After losing so many historic building and sites, it is nice to have such an iconic piece of Christchurch's history still flourishing. The flora clock changes regularly so its worth checking it out once in a while. Great for photos if your visiting the city.
I think I was expecting a little more. It was nice enough but not spectacular with flowers and colours. till if you are in the park it is worth a visit
Its still there - I saw it first in the 1950's. It was beautiful thgen and is the same today. Unless there was a sentimental attraction, one wouldn't make a special trip to see it - but if walking around the Noth side of the square envitons, it is worth a look.
The clock is still near there but is now across the river. It wasn't destroyed but as of 2012 it wasn't planted out and wasn't working.
