Mostly it's good news. The price was quite good especially as we were in one of the standalone cottages, the most private & quiet one down the back corner (unit 8).
Location is fairly handy, only a short bus ride on the route 28, getting off just after the Edgeware shops (incl supermarket, Liquor Store, Pizza Place, BP petrol station), which are in therefore in easy walking distance.
The cottage was only a studio unit, enough room but not large. Full but compact kitchen facilities. Couldn't find a chopping board which made cutting up some bread a bit tricker (used a large plate instead).
Bathroom/shower also a bit tricky as it's one floor and just a shower curtain. Despite the shower curtain the water quickly gets over most of the floor including by the toilet. Our approach was to just leave it there as we couldn't wipe it up each time. We put the bathmat at the entrance to the bathroom so we could step onto it to dry our feet on the way out.
Would definitely stay again at the price if I didn't have a reason to stay right in the centre of the city or in another specific place.More
