We arrived for our first night in New Zealand and stayed at Tuscana. It was easy to find, close enough to the airport for it to be a short trip after a long flight but close enough for a walk into the city centre.
Spotlessly clean, comfy, well-equipped, friendly welcome, ample parking.
This motel is the perfect example of what all motels should strive to deliver. From the warm welcome to the warm departure our hosts were friendly and knowledgeable. The
room was delightfully and tastefully decorated - modern, clean, luxurious with a well equipped kitchen and bathroom. The small kitchen was very well equipped and concealed behind louvre doors, as was the en suite bathroom giving the room a contemporary uncluttered feel. We were on the second level and the balcony had a table and two comfy chairs for that evening glass of wine and al fresco dining.
The town centre was a short but extremely pleasant walk away alongside the river and through the park.
Handy bars, cafes and restaurants also within walking distance.
We were flying from Christchurch to Singapore and it was only a 15 minute easy drive from this motel to the airport.
I highly recommend this motel - you will really enjoy your stay here.
Our family of four stayed here and loved it! The rooms are a nice size and comfortable. Laundry on site. Great vibe. Helpful and friendly staff and management. Walking distance to town plus close to great bars and restaurants. Will stay again next time we’re in town!
We spent a night here on a family trip through Christchurch and had three rooms. Each one was a one bedroom apartment that was well appointed, quiet and refurbished. The service at check in was friendly, informative and very welcoming. We got excellent advice on restaurants in the area, which were many as the location of this place is very convenient for access to central Christchurch.
Each room was very comfortable, had a kitchenette with cutlery and crockery (which was convenient for us to make our own breakfast a coffee in the morning) and a comfortable lounge area. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom had sufficient room for our suitcases. Each bathroom had a shower cabinet, wash basin and toilet.
Despite being on a busy road, this place was quiet overnight and we had a great sleep. Our family members were also very happy with the internet access. Onsite parking was also available and we had no difficulty driving into the premises and finding a car park.
Spent 1 night here. The motel is very well located in town. Walking distance to many restaurants nearby. The unit is very spacious with a living hall. The bathroom even has a spa/jacuzzi. Many variety of tea to choose from. Very nice and comfortable.
