Mike was very jovial , friendly and very entertaining from the start of the journey which started from Christchurch and ended at Queenstown. He took well care of my family members . He was very professional too . His rates were affordable too for the things we managed to witnessed during our trip, especially within the tight schedule of three days. My family and myself definitely enjoyed our trip with Mr Mike and I am sure we will be back soon !! Right from the beginning, Mike was enthusiastic and passionate about all things NZ, and gave us many suggestions as to how to best use our short time in the South Island. He was very patient while we 4 friends went back and forth with changes after changes of itinerary. He was always 15 min early waiting for us with a smiling face, trailing us as we lingered in shop after shop. He would go out of his way to show us good photo stops, shared his photos with us and took photos for us. Most of his recommendations for eating spots were fantastic. His car is always clean!
Throughout the entire trip, we always felt safe as he was very careful, considerate of our well-being (3 of us suffer from car-sickness), making sure the air flow is good for us, not driving recklessly, etc. He has become a good friend! We would highly recommend Mike Halliday to anyone, and we will go back to him again when we next visit Christchurch region.
