There should be a lot to like about Jucy Snooze, but there are serious issues here.
The Good:
*Awesome location - less then 10mins to the airport, Countdown supermarket behind the building, and a McDonalds and KFC across the road.
*Modern with a good shower.
The bad - here goes:
*This was the noisiest place I have ever stayed. Just because people arrive all hours of the night doesnt mean that there cannot be 'quiet hours' or something enforced. It was beyond a joke, with people congregating in hallways throughout the night. Doors slamming, water running, kids screaming, trolley cases being banged up the stairs. Dont let the modern look fool you, the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything. Especially those doors that slammed shut right throughout the night.
*Was not overly clean. There was hair in my bedding and through the bathroom, towels had stains on them, and the one pillow provided was poor.
*The customer service was extremely poor. Rude and unprofessional, with little care or regard for the guest. The Self Check in Machine would not let me check in, so I had track down a staffer who was so unfriendly. Checking out in the morning the same thing happened with the machine, this time it swallowed my room key and told me there was a error and to see and Customer service rep or 'Dream Team' (Nightmare more like). I couldn't face dealing with them again, so I just walked out.
I paid well over $120 for a private room, and the value for money was poor. Never again will I stay at Jucy Snooze, and I would encourage all who are reading this to proceed with caution. Until Jucy can sort out the noise issues (maybe introduce quiet hours between 10pm-6am ask people checking in/out between these times to be mindful of other guests or be removed) and also sort out its shocking customer service, be warned!
