I would rate this cosy little motel without hesitation as OUTSTANDING. It is one of the best small motels one can get. It is in a good location in walking distance (about 15 minutes) to the city centre (we are oldies). It is squeaky clean, the staff are very friendly. We stayed five nights. We had a room with a wonderful big old tree just a few metres from our balcony. Sitting on the balcony in the sunset, with trees and birds surrounding us was a perfect and calming experience after a hectic touristy day. The room is well furnished and decorated with a touch of art. It has the convenience of a kitchenette, which is well equipped; more than usual in motels. By all means, I would/will stay there again.

Room tip: It is in a quiet location recessed from the street. All rooms look to the parking lot surrounded by trees. Any room would be good.

We reached quite late at night - however our arrangements were made by the host. We had a good stay at the hotel and the location was very nice. The host were very friendly and helped us as well with certain areas of the city.

I was in town for the national honey bee conference.

Jenny and the staff's service was truly first class, the rooms were new, VERY clean, spacious and really really comfortable.

I'd been on the road for a few weeks and had a pile of clothes washing to do, I ask Jenny if she knew of a good laundromat, she said, 'dont worry about going to one of those, I'll do it for you'!

When I got back from the conference that night all my clothes had been washed, dried and neatly folded on my bed!

On checkout I asked how much the laundry service cost - Jenny said, 'there isn't any' - can you believe that!

Thank you - I will only ever stay at Ellena Court when in Blenheim!

Room tip: Just ask - they are all good to be honest.

Thanks Will for all those lovely comments. We really enjoyed having such a great group of people stay with us during the Apiculture Conference. Yes, we do charge a small amount for laundry service but on this occasion your free time was limited, so I thought I would help you out. I look forward to seeing you again in the future but until then, take care and safe travels. Kind regards, Jennie, Manager, Ellena Court Motel, Blenheim.

Mydelf & 2 mates stayed 3 nights, mid winter June 2018. 2 rooms, 2 very large king sized beds, and a separate single bed. Super comfortable accommodation, very quiet rooms (separated by soundproof door between rooms). Large screen tv in each room with most channels available (but no Trackside Channel which was a bit of a negative for us horse racing fans). Great showers, warm rooms, tea/coffee facilities. Very reasonably priced we paid $540 for 3 of us for 3 nights ($180 each). I'd happily stay here again, as good as you'll get in Blenheim at good value prices. Service was very good.

Hi Peter, Thanks for taking the time to review us and your favourable comments. Next time you come to stay, let me know you are a horse racing fan and I am more than happy to change one of the sporting channels to Trackside for you during your stay. Look forward to seeing you again. Kind regards, Jennie
