We went here on our last night of holiday and had the best meal of our whole time in New Zealand. It was Saturday night so quite busy and still only had to wait half an hour for a table (no bookings taken after 6pm). When the drinks are as good as they are here, waiting is not a problem.
Had the most gorgeous starter of ravioli, the oil dressing was so good I had to ask for extra bread to make sure I didn't leave any!
Excellent range of choices on the menu.
Great wine list with lots of choice.
Service was impeccable. Can't fault the place at all.

Thank Louise M

Went here for dinner and they we very welcoming, we were seated near the door and did find it a bit clod with the draft comping in under the door. The Food was really nice and would recommend it and would eat here again.

The price was fair for this kind of dinning.

Went here with a large group and they handled us very well. Service was good and very friendly. The food was excellent and the price was reasonable for New Zealand. Highly recommend.

My wife and I just returned from an 18 day tour of Sydney and New Zealand. We ate at 8 or 9 fine restaraunts, and the food at Boulcott Street was the best. The atmosphere may not compare with the top of the Sky Tower in Auckland, but from a perspective of just the food, this was our favorite meal. Pan fried calves liver was delicious, calamari was even better. If I had to complain about something, we thought the wine menu was a little overpriced, but that didn't stop us from loving the meal.

I just finished a relaxing and wonderful lunch at Boulcott Street Bistro in central Wellington. This was a business lunch for five and was perfect for such an occasion. The food was great. I had the whitebait which was incredible. Our service was perfect and they managed the right combination of attentiveness for a business lunch. The building is an old house converted into a restaurant and has lots of character. This restaurant has been around a long time but is still very relevant in the Wellington dining scene. I strongly recommend this for either a business meal or an intimate meal for two
