The location is great - Central Wellington with easy walking distance to restaurants, bars, breweries, Te Papa and all the other attractions. The facilities were all clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, the price was good and we will happily return - you can’t say better than that!

Considering the price, the room here was well furnished, clean, and tidy. Comfortable bed and all the facilities you would expect. Room was a bit small, but to be expected.

Only real issue is the noise. If the owners could invest in one thing it would be sound proofing. The street noise is very loud, and comes through into the rooms throughout the night.

Probably wouldn’t stay again because of this.

Dear WalesNZ88,

Thank you for posting your feedback.
I am delighted you enjoyed your stay with us.
Your stay coincided with WOW which saw Wellington celebrating this fantastic event over 3 weeks. We are already looking forward to 2019 WOW!
I am sorry the noise disturbed you. Rest assured, our owners are continuing to invest in noise suppressant solutions.
Like any major city in the World, centrally located Hotels do their best to erase this issue however it is not always possible to completely block out the noise from outside of vehicles and people outside enjoying themselves.

Thanks again for taking the time to comment.

Regards,
Andrew B

We were very disappointed with the Trinity hotel. Tiny rooms, rooftop bar immediately above us, made for very little sleep. Outside call for room service - unreal!! No atmosphere.
Prices similar to 4 and 5 star hotels. My advice:don't go there!

While the service was adequate, the room was clean but very small, no atmosphere in the hotel which would improve with some refurbishing. Handy to the city the waterfront and plenty of choices of cafe's and restaurants nearby.Car parking is available, close to bus services

My friend and I were disappointed with the Trinity. The photos on the website certainly do not depict all the rooms available. Our first room had old windows that rattled in the wind and we couldn't connect to any wifi. We did go down to reception and request another room but we couldn't have a twin single so had to have a queen to share. The next room was also noisy with road noise and the room next door could be heard. The older style windows are also drafty. The room heaters are a different style as well. Only one side of the electric blanket could be plugged in due to a lack of plugs/or an extension cord. Overall they are basic rooms with nothing too fancy. A bit noisy and drafty with the old windows.

Dear NicolaConn37,

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feed back.

I am extremely sorry you experienced a rattly window during your stay. The night you stayed we did have a really strong wind blowing so my apologies for the inconvenience that was caused by this. It is correct we could not move you to another room as the bedding configuration in the room you were in was not available in other similar rooms as we were fully booked out. The queen bedded room was the only option we could afford you at the time so I am delighted our receptionist followed our procedures and moved you so you could get a good nights sleep.

We have requested these windows to be realigned by our window repair company in the first room you were in so they do not rattle anymore. Our in room heaters are all modern and work well so I am a little unsure as to what the issue was here. I am sure you would have called reception for assistance if you had an issue working the heaters.

Our Hotel is 3 star and we advertise accordingly. Our photos on all websites you can book through show all rooms so the choice is out there for all prospective guests to choose what type of room they require. The photos are completely up to date and not mis leading. We advertise what we are and the room rates reflect this with outstanding value for money.

Again, thank you for providing your comments.

Regards,
Andrew B
