This was a two bed room apartment. It is very conveinient for the town, there is a gym that we didn't use and good wifi.
there is a microwave, fridge, freezer and some crockery and cutlery if you want to cook but there are so many good places to eat around here - why would you!
Clean, good sized rooms and comfortable - can't go wrong.

A quick night in Wellington whilst passing through was very disappointing from the outset. Being asked to pay a $200 bond simply because there was a beer festival going on was insulting. We weren't attending said festival and are far removed from your archetypal beer swilling hoons and whist you can't judge a book by its cover you also don't have to tar everyone with the same brush.
A supposed upgrade seemed an oxymoron when we arrived in our room. Opening the door into a very uninspiring lounge/kitchen area with no cosiness whatsoever made us wonder where the bed was. Turned out to be behind the door in what was little more than a cupboard. There was no more than a metre around the bed and if the sliding door had been closed, acute agoraphobia might have resulted.
The property was clean, the one member of staff we encountered was efficient though unconcerned by my feeling about the bond. Location is central and price was reasonable however I'd rather pay a tad more next time for something that doesn't resemble a pared down youth hostel room.

Stayed here for three nights for work. I was in Room 9F. This room has some kind of vent outside that runs for around 20 minutes, making a heck of a racket, then goes quiet for about 10 minutes, then the noise starts up again. I put up with this the first night till 9:10pm, when I rang reception to ask if anyone has mentioned this to them. The staff member who answered the phone said, no, no one had mentioned this, and she would just check with the duty manager. She came back to tell me that actually, the noise stops about 9:30pm. So obviously someone had mentioned it to them. Anyway, aside from the noise, the room was tidy, clean and warm. All good points.
The fitness centre is also a handy, easy to access room, which is most appreciated.

Room tip: Avoid 9F if you can

Pros: standard hotel room with all amenities required for a comfortable stay. Comfortable bed and great kitchenette available.

Cons: the smell in my room was very stale and old, overwhelmed me so much I had to spray air freshener and open windows and door. Not sure what was the cause. Also I moved my bed to grab my phone that dropped behind it and found an empty skittles candy bag. Made me question the cleanliness of this establishment. Please implement more quality controls with house keeping.

Great 1920s Art Deco style hotel in a great location. Our room had a proper kitchenette, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, and a bathroom with a washing machine in - all for a very reasonable price,

Comfortable room with a well equipped kitchenette, small but clean bathroom and washer dryer. The room I was in had a window which could be opened enough to let some fresh air in. There is a column heater which warms up the room effectively. Centrally located near a small supemarket, department stores, cable car station, restaurants and not far from the waterfront. Being right in the CBD though, there is some street noise and being on a higher floor, the sound of the wind howling around the building was quite loud one night.
