This is a charming building with great features and fabulous views across the harbour. Our host was welcoming and friendly and breakfast was adequate, if somewhat uninspired.
The property is a little isolated and local eateries are limited, so you need to drive to town if you want more variety. However, on the down side, the walls are paper thin and you hear every footstep and voice in the adjoining rooms, so when other guests are up, you are up - irrespective of the time.
Our bed was a disaster. It was an ancient sprung based double - so bouncy that you would get a calmer night's sleep, adrift mid atlantic in a rubber dinghy in a force 10 gale.
Architecturally superb. Comfort sadly lacking. Would we stay there again - I'm afraid not.
