We have enjoyed our Valentine’s Day dinner at IBIS Wellington. The restaurant was lovely decorated for the special evening and the staffs were very kind. Three-course set menu, selections of sea food and/or beef were great combination followed by matching wine with reasonable price. Seafoods were remarkably fresh. Each dish from the appetizer to dessert was very delicious, and the generous portion made my husband even happier. Great value for the special day.

Exceptionally small room for the price. The ensuite was a disabled shower and also tiny, so when you ran the shower the entire bathroom got soaked. Perfect location for the Bluebridge Ferry and Sky Stadium though which is why I chose it.

Stayed in January for a family holiday. I was expecting a very budget hotel, because we got a low price, but was pleasantly surprised. The staff were always very helpful. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and there was even a pillow menu. The room was perfectly clean and no signs of wear and tear. The location was excellent.... one block from Lambton Quay, one block from the sea, and 5 to 10 mins walk to parliament or train station. There is a supermarket one block away at Cable Car Lane. The only disadvantage was the air con was a little noisy, but I still slept fine.
