The location is fantastic! It is close to the shops, bus & train stations, and waterfront. The room is vast and has a complete set of everything you need. The staff were exceptional, especially Zyrille and Joy.

Good family room. Nice service. But the sir conditioning didn’t work well and needed daily emptying by us. The street noise was marked. The curtains didn’t close properly. We had no hot water on three days. Parking for disabled guest was inadequate. And more than one fire alarm. Unsettled stay. Will not stay again.

We appreciate your time to write your feedback from your recent stay at CityLife Wellington. On behalf of our team, my sincere apologies for an unfortunate experience you went through during your stay.
Your comments about the things that we need to focus on have been cascaded to the departments concerned. Not only does it gives us the opportunity to address the issues and find way to fix the problems, it also demonstrates your desire for our hotel to improve in our service levels. As initially offered, we would have insisted for you to do the room move however we also understood the inconvenience it may create and thus, we settled with you staying in the same room and just had a standby room close by. We always have a space for our dear guests with disabilities as the parking slots within the premises are for this purpose and I deeply apologize that this was not reiterated with you during your stay. The fire alarm that happened twice were really unexpected and we are sorry for the inconvenience, we managed to notify the guests involved promptly.
We extend our appreciation for your constructive comments, as we are making due note of the concerns raised from your experience. We hope such incidents will not deter you from considering to stay with us in the future.

A big two-bedroom unit with full cooking facilities. In very good condition and excellent cleanliness. Located right on Lambton Quay and only a five-minute walk to the waterfront and Te Papa etc. We walked up to Oriental Bay and swam there for a couple of hours around high tide and walked back to the hotel wrapped in a towel. Awesome holiday.

The Bed was great, room was spacious and comfortable. Everything was clean and tidy, staff were friendly and helpful. My children enjoyed the gym. Would be happy to stay there again. Handy to Lambton Quay and all the shopping and restaurants around the CBD.

Great location right in the heart of the city. The staff are very friendly and helpful and let us have an early check in plus helped with other requests during our stay like a portacot for our son.
The hotel was nice and clean and we would recommend to everyone.
Room tip: Parking is tight so if you have a large car then it could be difficult to park.

it must be at least the fifth time we stayed at city life. the hotel is situated in central wellington, and the lift takes you out into lambton quay. we stayed in a one bedroom apartment, lovely rooms, good kitchen, and washing machine and drier. staff is always friendly and helpful. since we find it difficult to park at the parking place, they accommodated us to park at their premises. when we left and arrived in christchurch we realised we forgot a bag in the room. the receptionist immediately dealt with it in a polite and caring way.
