The location is great with easy access from the hotel to both The Terrace and Lambton Quay. The staff were first class and very very helpful as our daugher was on crutches and they even supplied a wheelchair and shower stool.The 2 bedroomed unit was perfect for our needs. A little tired decor wise but good value for the price paid

This is a great central city location, very comfortable and great price point. We had 2 bedrooms plus lounge so plenty of room. The service at reception was impeccable. The only criticism I have is the curtains don't close properly, allowing light to shine through where they don't meet. I think blinds would provide a darker room and a better night's sleep. I would definitely stay again.

I settled on City Life Wellington as having the best mix of location, rooms and price during 9 months of weekly trips and trialing several CBD hotel options.
Great location on foot or driving near the motorway. Very well appointed rooms and the biggest plus for me was proper kitchenette facilities, much better than most standard hotels which for me made it great value.
Friendly staff and fairly well equipped gym.
The only downside is no restaurant (including breakfast) facilities, although this may change again in the future. Plenty of options right out the door though so this shouldn't put you off.

We had a lovely holiday in Wellington. Staying at City Life meant we didn't need a car as the bus stops are really close to the hotel and you are within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. We had an apartment looking down on to Lambton Quay but it wasn't at all noisy. The beds were very comfortable, the house keeping first class and as we were so close to a super market it was easy to pop down and buy breakfast items. All the staff we met at City Life were happy and obliging. I'm starting to sound like a paid PR person but I'm not. I booked and paid through the Heritage hotels web-site.

I enjoyed my studio apartment , great space, great divide so you don’t feel like you’re just in a bedroom, but you have a living room too. It was super quiet - I guess I was not on the City side which was fine. The staff were super helpful and friendly, the housekeeping Team did a fabulous job every day (was there 5nights). Great size TV with an array of sky stations. The room had everything you needed. Would love to stay in one with a bath tub next time and a washer and dryer that would make the stay a 10!
Location amazing , next to countdown and pharmacy warehouse , super convenient! Ran out of clothes because o stayed an extra day - so popped into the store next door to grab something to wear lol. Super central, super convenient, super comfortable- and the best lifts in any building in Wellington - so fast and efficient, barely any wait time ! I was so impressed .... thank you City Life for a great experience !
