We pick this motel as it had free parking and it was walking distance from the city Centre. The staff were excellent and were very helpful with any question I had .
Close to great restaurants and shops. The rooms were older but very clean and had everything you needed. We stayed 3 nights.
Although advertised as having sky TV this was not available. Advertised as having daily servicing or rooms but ours was nnt serviced, we arrived to find the fridge was not turned on luckily we realised this but had we not our food might have gone off.
Nowhere in the bathroom to put anything, there had clearly been hooks on the back of the door at one point but no more.
Family of 4 we booked the superior room,#33 on 4th floor and it was fantastic. Very clean, well appointed and spacious. The 2 single beds were large and super comfy, our king size in a separate room was the same. The view kept us up at night,no noise from neighbours. No air con but it didn't need it as real opening windows, with hill location ment so much fresh air. We loved the free parking. Our new first choice for Wellington accommodation...
One of few hotels offering free car parking in central Wellington this place is very well-situated close to Cuba Street bars and shops but relatively quiet. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. While hotel and room decor are slightly dated our room had all mod cons which worked well and the place is spotlessly clean. You have to carry your bags down the final flight of stairs for any departures pre-8am - as we did to catch the early morning ferry to Picton - but as long as you are reasonably fit this won't prove a problem.

Very clean, good value, good location, lovely staff.
We had 2 queen studios, one had queen bed plus a single, the other had queen bed and 2 singles.
We arrived late due to flight delays- staff member - Athena? - was very kind and helpful. Thank you very much for your patience.
We have stayed here several times over the last few years and definitely recommend it.
