The rooms are large and our room had a double bed and a single bed with a kitchen. It was quiet and had a view over Wellington. It has good parking. My only minor complaint is that the room is looking a little dated but reading over reviews may be our room was waiting to be re-furbished. Close to the road with lots of restaurants.

Situated just round the corner from Cuba St which is great for bars and cafés.
Off street parking which for those with a car is crucial.
We were walking or using public transport and found the place easily.
Friendly and helpful welcoming owner. Excellent instructions for after hours access as we arrived into Welly at midnight.
Nice quiet area which made for a peaceful night's sleep.
Room slightly dated but this did not detract from the fact that the standard of cleanliness, kitchen & bathroom facilities, etc were excellent and the bed was very comfortable.
Easy to walk up to Mt Vic for some exercise.
We'd definitely stay there again

This is like a small hotel in that the rooms are located over 5 floors with an elevator. This is not a problem unless you have a lot of things to take to the room because you are self-catering thus you need to make several trips up and down. It is very conveniently located close to lots of restaurants on Cuba Street and only about a 20 min. walk to the Te Papau museum. The room was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen appropriately equipped and the shower very good.

Although it is a little dated, it provides everything you need for a self cater. There is a laundry on the ground floor . Very clean and a very comfy bed, wifi good. The reception staff were very helpful .Book parking before your arrival. Its just a few metres from the start of Cuba st.

As you say our complex is very close to Cuba St with it's great mix of cafes and restaurants only 10-15 minutes walk and the waterfront only 20 minutes walk, so we are close to many interesting places in the city.

A recent trip with young grand daughter required us to be close to the city and in easy walking distance to most of the Wellington highligts. Capital View certainly provided well in every aspect. So clean, with modern, comfortable furnishings and bedding. will certainly stay again when visiting Wellington
