Absolutely phenomenal spot in Welly, with harbor views and comfortable amenities.
Only this that was a bit strange is they didn't offer much entertainment other than basic sky/cable. Would have assumed a location of this calibre to have Netflix/streaming services available.
Not much of an issue as there's so much to do around you don't need the tv

Wow. This hotel is absolutely amazing. From the friendly check in, ease of parking and then the room. We were treated to a delightful stay at the QT.
The front desk lady was able to load my PGR rewards on so we could get a late checkout. She was friendly and gave some advice on things to do.
The room itself. Well, from the comfortable bed and perfect pillow set up to the bathroom with the deep bath we were set for the night! Being able to control the temperature of the room is always something we look for and this gave you the option.
I had thought I had booked a room with a balcony but hadn’t, they tried to accomodate us but couldn’t and as a result we got free drinks. On check out the girl told me how to ensure to get a balcony next time. So I appreciate that advice.
This hotel is luxury and upmarket but you still feel the friendly vibes from the staff and the room feels homely with its extras.
The guy at the valet impressed my partner by sharing some dive spots which he will use next time I am sure.

We were very happy with almost everything about our stay.
However we were very surprised to find a shower over a bath in what was otherwise a well appointed bathroom. very 1980's ! my wife & I felt unsafe climbing in and out of the bathe each time we showered

We stayed two nights, and enjoyed a very comfortable king-sized bed (on the firm side, which is what we like). The pillows were great too.
The breakfast in the Hippotamus Restaurant was delicious, with really a really good long black Decaf coffee which I've found hard to get at other cafes.
Staff were great, very friendly and helpful.
The bath was fabulous - I really appreciate the staff changing our room so that I could get a bubble bath in. Huge TV in the room was good too.

The first room by the pool was awful. You literally opened the curtain to have some one swimming at eye level. However they moved our room no problems.
The hotel is cool but definitely due a revamp.
Would be good if reception passed on the pre paid breakfast arrangements to the restaurant. Each morning we had to show evidence of our breakfast being pre paid because it wasn’t stated on the list. Then we would get asked again when we left.
The breakfast though is brilliant. You are around the party area so expect noise.
