I had a blast here. Every day I walked along Cuba street to check out the awesome shopping and restaurants right outside the door of Naumi. The rooms are large and spacious, with luxurious albeit gaudy decor. I enjoyed the ostentatious style of the hotel for the most part, and much preferred it over staying somewhere that's boring and corporate. The hotel is clearly working with old bones, and you could definitely hear some of the plumbing through the walls while inside the room. But with a pari of earplugs, it didn't bother me at all during the night. I had drinks for happy hour down in the lobby almost every night, which were pricey but unique. I would easily choose to stay here again.

A beautiful modern hotel right in the centre of town. Stones throw to the restaurants and shopping on Cuba Street.

We had a habitat king room and the hotel kindly gave us a corner room on the top floor. It was beautiful. Plenty of space with a little kitchenette and seating area. The bed was the most comfortable we’ve had on our trip to NZ so far. The bathroom was modern, clean and stocked but a wee bit too small. Felt a bit tight given how large the room was.

The bar downstairs was busy and seemed to be a place for people to meet and get together.

Receptionists were very efficient and courteous both at check in and check out. They could not accommodate our request for a car park space the first night but they did the second night.

The hotel kindly acknowledged my partners birthday with a bottle of wine. It was a lovely touch.

Absolutely superb hotel. The bed was probably the most comfortable I have ever experienced in a hotel anywhere in the world. Very spacious comfortable room, with a great alt. vibe complete with wonderful furnishings and decor. Great location off Cuba Street and so convenient for the city.
