Great food, they let us know how long we would have to wait. The chutney was delicious.
The country had gone to Level 2 the night before and they were not taking the necessary precautions- no table service, no social distancing

Excellent. From the friendly smiles and cheerful greeting as we entered, to the last slurp of great coffee and bite of tasty food, this place is a class act. Unpretentious but clean and tidy, sporting a clear and broad menu with many customization options for celiacs and vegans.

As mentioned, the service was bright and friendly (and efficient!) and we felt looked after even though just there for a swift breakfast before our hotel checkout. My wife had the eggs benedict and was really impressed by both the portion size and the quality, with particular appreciation for the ‘awesome vinegary-ness’ she often can’t find in a hollandaise sauce. Her eggs were utterly perfect also, spilling their bright yellow yolks like melted butter over her generous and well toasted bread base. I had the portobello and bacon stack, having been recently diagnosed celiac (I will miss you, gluten!) and this too did not disappoint! Everything was perfect, with the portobello mushrooms themselves having an excellent meaty texture and full flavour, and the bacon just sublime in it’s salty perfection. The only negative was it was all so good I ate too fast and got the food sweats!

The coffees (two large flat whites) were great, and not watery as can sometimes happen when ‘upsizing’, and were nice and hot.

The price was just shy of $50 for this level of quality and portion sizes, which I think was great value.

Tl;dr just eat here. You won’t regret it.

Used Trip Advisor to find this place. After a quick online scan we decided to try it for breakfast, definitely weren’t disappointed.

Wife had the special omelette (large portion) with Avocado on the side, her remarks were it was delicious and fluffy with an abundance of toppings.

Me being the bigger eater went for the ‘Full Monty’ breakfast (of course the large portion!!), first time in a wee while but my eyes were bigger than my belly, this is a massive breakfast, not for the faint hearted.

Coffee was very good, and my wife’s hot chocolate was in the words of Nigella Lawson “smooth and decadent”

Highly recommend, we’ll be back (maybe as soon as tomorrow!)

P.S staff were brilliant, very friendly and obliging.
